Justin Forsyth was arrested for intoxication manslaughter in a Galveston, Texas motorcycle accident. A boy that was four years old died in the accident. The unfortunate incident occurred on July 17, 2016. We would anticipate that this case may result in a wrongful death lawsuit, especially once the investigation is complete.

According to reports, Forsyth was driving under the influence on his motorcycle on 10th Street when he hit the young boy and dragged him for over reportedly about 15 feet. The young boy died as a result of the injuries he sustained in the incident. Our hearts and deepest sympathies go out to the friends and families of the little boy.

What was the cause of the accident? Was anyone distracted or under the influence? Are there any other factors missing from this report?

It is always sad to hear about car collisions, and this accident is equally as sad. The roads are always a place where unpredictable moments take place. That is why driving safely is so important.

Although the police are doing their own investigating, they cannot always be fully relied upon. There are some questions that may still need answers and some actions that may need explanations. Personal injury lawyers do not always rely on the police reports. They often hire private investigators to find the answers to additional questions. Investigators often obtain helpful information that is not included in the police report, information that family members sometimes want to know.

The facts of this case may support a wrongful death lawsuit. The Weaver Law Firm understands that family and friends may have plenty of questions regarding wrongful death lawsuits.
