On Behalf of | Jun 28, 2016 | Wrongful Death |

Natalie Torres died in a car accident in El Paso, Texas. Max Perez died in the accident as well. The unfortunate incident occurred on June 23, 2016. We would anticipate that this case may result in a wrongful death lawsuit, especially once the investigation is complete.

According to reports, Mario Lopez was driving in one vehicle on Diana Drive and Torres was driving another vehicle on Guadalupe Dr. with Perez as her passenger. Reports indicate this was when Torres drove into the crossroads of the two streets without yielding to the right of way and crashed with Lopez’s vehicle. Torres and Perez both died as a result of the extreme injuries they sustained in the accident. It is also being reported that Torres was pregnant during the crash. Our hearts and deepest sympathies go out to the friends and families of Torres and Perez.

What was the cause of the accident? Was anyone distracted or under the influence? Are there any other factors missing from this report?

It is always sad to hear about fatal car collisions, and this accident is equally as sad. The roads are always a place where unpredictable moments take place. That is why driving safely is so important.

Although the police are doing their own investigating, they cannot always be fully relied upon. There are some questions that may still need answers and some actions that may need explanations. Personal injury lawyers do not always rely on the police reports. They often hire private investigators to find the answers to additional questions. Investigators often obtain helpful information that is not included in the police report, information that family members sometimes want to know.

The facts of this case may support a wrongful death lawsuit. The Weaver Law Firm understands that family and friends may have plenty of questions regarding wrongful death lawsuits.
