The unfortunate incident occurred on May 21, 2016. We would anticipate that this case may result in a wrongful death lawsuit, especially once the investigation is complete.

According to reports, Valdez was allegedly driving under the influence and disregarded a red light. Reports indicate this was when Valdez’s vehicle and another collided at the intersection of FM 2920 and Kuykendahl Rd. Hilda Avila, Emilio Avila, and Mauricio Ramires were in the other vehicle and died as a result of their extreme injuries. Mauricio hearts and deepest sympathies go out to the friends and families of the Avila’s and Ramires.

What was the cause of the fatal accident? Was anyone distracted or under the influence? Are there any other factors missing from this report?

It is always sad to hear about car collisions, and this accident is equally as sad. Valdez is facing three counts of murder as a result of his involvement with the accident.

Although the police are doing their own investigating, they cannot always be fully relied upon. There are some questions that may still need answers and some actions that may need explanations. Personal injury lawyers do not always rely on the police reports. They often hire private investigators to find the answers to additional questions. Investigators often obtain helpful information that is not included in the police report, information that family members sometimes want to know.

The facts of this case may support a wrongful death lawsuit. The Weaver Law Firm understands that family and friends may have plenty of questions regarding wrongful death lawsuits.
