On Behalf of | Apr 5, 2016 | Wrongful Death |

Jessica Hollowell died in a Paris, Texas car accident. Rodrigo Hernandez and Jennifer Robledo were involved in the accident as well. The unfortunate incident took place on March 18, 2016. We would anticipate that this case may result in a wrongful death lawsuit, especially once the investigation is complete.

According to reports, Hernandez was driving at a high rate of speed near where NE 20th St. and Lamar Avenue cross paths. Reports indicate that this was when Hollowell hit Hernandez’s vehicle and lost the ability to control her car making her crash into a traffic light. Hollowell died as a result of the extreme injuries she sustained. Our hearts and deepest sympathies go out to the friends and families of Hollowell.

Why was the driver speeding? Was anyone distracted or under the influence? Are there any other factors missing from this report?

It is always sad to hear about fatal car collisions, and this accident is equally as sad. The roads are always a place where unpredictable moments take place. That is why driving safely is so important.

It is reported that Hernandez now has charges of accident involving death and racing on a highway causing serious bodily injury or death. Although the police are doing their own investigating, they cannot always be fully relied upon. There are some questions that may still need answers and some actions that may need explanations. Personal injury lawyers do not always rely on the police reports. They often hire private investigators to find the answers to additional questions. Investigators often obtain helpful information that is not included in the police report, information that family members sometimes want to know.

The facts of this case may support a wrongful death lawsuit. The Weaver Law Firm understands that family and friends may have plenty of questions regarding wrongful death lawsuits.
