Rachel Roberts died in a car accident in Fannin County, Texas. Tyler Roberts died in the crash as well. The unfortunate incident occurred on March 6, 2016. We would anticipate that this case may result in a wrongful death lawsuit, especially once the investigation is complete.

According to reports, Rachel Roberts was in a vehicle headed down Highway 56 with her son, Tyler, as a passenger. Reports indicate that this was when another vehicle being driven by Billy Bayse veered into the opposite lanes and crashed head-on with the Roberts’ car. Bayse and three other people were injured in the accident. Rachel and Tyler Roberts died as a result of the extreme injuries they sustained. Our hearts and deepest sympathies go out to the family and friends of the Roberts. We also hope that the injured victims make a speedy recovery.

It is always sad to hear about fatal car accidents, and this accident is equally as sad. The roads are always a place where unpredictable moments take place. That is why driving safely is so important.

What really was the cause of the accident? Was anyone distracted or under the influence? Are there any other factors missing from this report?

Although the police are doing their own investigating, they cannot always be fully relied upon. There are some questions that may still need answers and some actions that may need explanations. Personal injury lawyers do not always rely on the police reports. They often hire private investigators to find the answers to additional questions. Investigators often obtain helpful information that is not included in the police report, information that family members sometimes want to know.

The facts of this case may support a wrongful death lawsuit. The Weaver Law Firm understands that family and friends may have plenty of questions regarding wrongful death lawsuits.
