On Behalf of | Dec 16, 2015 | Wrongful Death |

Jetly Marquez and four other people died in a car accident in Crystal City, Texas. The other four people were Anna Marquez, Perla Sanchez, Dominico Gonzalez, and Aiden Gonzalez. This fatal and unfortunate accident occurred on December 14, 2015. We would anticipate that this case may result in a wrongful death lawsuit, especially once the investigation is complete.

One vehicle was driving on Highway 57 close to Zavala County. That vehicle veered into the opposite-directed lane and crashed head-on into another car. The impact of the crash killed Marquez, Sanchez, and Dominico and Aiden Gonzalez. Our prayers and deepest sympathies go out to the family and friends of all of those that died in the crash.

It is always sad to hear about car collisions, and this accident is equally as sad. The roads are always a place where unpredictable moments take place. That is why driving safely is so important.

Why did one vehicle cross onto the opposite lanes? Was the driver distracted? Was the driver under the influence? What other factors are missing from this report?

Although the police are doing their own investigating, they cannot always be fully relied upon. There are some questions that may still need answers and some actions that may need explanations. Personal injury lawyers do not always rely on the police reports. They often hire private investigators to find the answers to additional questions. Investigators often obtain helpful information that is not included in the police report, information that family members sometimes want to know.

The facts of this case may support a wrongful death lawsuit. The Weaver Law Firm understands that family and friends may have plenty of questions regarding wrongful death lawsuits.
