Reports coming out of Lantana, Florida state that Peter Olivier, 20, from Boca Raton died in a fatal roll-over accident. According to law enforcement, the accident occurred on I-95 near Exit 61. Police believe that the vehicle, an SUV, lost control and rolled over. Another vehicle collided into the SUV, causing the seven individuals inside of the car to be ejected. Olivier was the only fatality but four other individuals suffered critical injuries, while the other two individuals suffered minor injuries. The driver of the car that hit the SUV suffered only minor injuries. It is unclear as to why the SUV lost control. Perhaps this was a case of a vehicle malfunction, distracted driving, or perhaps the driver was attempting to pass another car.
Reports coming out of Brevard County state that Jose Morales Caraballo died after a car struck him. According to law enforcement, the accident occurred between State Road 520 and Dallas Boulevard. Caraballo was mowing grass on the median of State Road 528 when a driver, Lemoary Rivera Carmona lost control of her vehicle and swerved into the median, hitting Caraballo. Caraballo died from the injuries he sustained in the incident. Carmona sustained only minor injuries. We wonder if this was also a case of a vehicle malfunction or distracted driving.
