Reports coming out of Jacksonville, Florida state that Charles Robert Campbell died in a fatal vehicle accident that involved two semi-trucks and two cars. According to law enforcement, the accident occurred on I-95 at about 3:30 AM. Police believe that a semi tractor-trailer attempted to avoid hitting a piece of debris in the middle of the highway. This caused the semi-truck to lose control and it struck the concrete barrier. There was a Chevrolet Blazer SUV that was also travelling in the same lane that was incapable of stopping and it slid underneath the semi. The driver of the SUV, Campbell, died from the injuries he sustained in the accident. Another semi-truck was travelling behind the first one and successfully avoided the debris but rear-ended another car. The people inside of the car were taken to the hospital, but are reported to not have serious injuries.

Fatal vehicle accidents are not uncommon in Florida.
