Saiyud Gale was injured in an alleged drunk driving accident in San Antonio, Texas. Reports state that Gale, who was a passenger in the car, was thrown out of the vehicle when the driver hit a guardrail on the highway. A person claiming to be a family member of the driver reported to The Weaver Law Firm that the driver was not drunk and that Gale jumped out of the vehicle.  Law enforcement believes that the accident occurred at about 10 PM on I-35 and Rittiman. According to a report, the driver lost control of the car and hit the guardrail, which caused the door of the vehicle to come off. We suspect that the car crashed into the highway median, which caused Gale to be thrown out of the back seat. Gale was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. We believe that the driver, Boon Nuntasai Cates, was arrested for intoxication assault.

Our hearts and thoughts go out to the family of the victim, who we imagine have been deeply affected by this accident. Drunk driving is extremely dangerous and can result in many fatalities. Others who have lost loved ones in drunk driving accidents could benefit from hiring a lawyer. A personal injury attorney can help the family of the victims understand their options and legal rights.

Car accidents are not uncommon in San Antonio.

A family living in the 9400 block of Cliff Stone Drive awoke at about 4 AM to a truck in their house. Police report that the truck had crashed into the house. The family went outside to investigate the damage done and noticed the smell of gas. The driver and passenger fled the scene however, before any precautions could be taken. Police are continuing to investigate this incident and are attempting to find those that were in the truck. Fortunately, there were no injuries.
