Tracy Groom involved in fatal rollover crash in Mabank, Texas.

Reports coming out of Mabank, Texas state that Tracy Groom died in a single-car rollover accident. Law enforcement believes that the accident occurred on U.S. Highway 175 when Groom's SUV encountered an obstacle on the road, causing the driver to lose control of the car. The car went through the U.S. Highway 198 overpass guard rail and rolled over a few times. Groom died from the injuries he sustained in the accident.

Dale Anderson killed in drunk driving crash in Garland, Texas.

Reports coming out of Garland, Texas state that Dale Anderson, 22, was killed in a drunk driving accident. According to law enforcement, the accident occurred at about 11:30 PM on South Garland Avenue. Police believe that Anderson was driving his motorcycle south when Matthew Tynes, 23, of Grand Prairie, Texas hit him. Tynes was driving a Chevrolet Camaro the wrong direction (north in the southbound lanes). Anderson died from the injuries he sustained in the accident while Tynes was found to be under the influence of alcohol and arrested for intoxication manslaughter.

Sylvia Zazueta involved in fatal car crash in Forth Worth, Texas.

Reports coming out of Forth Worth, Texas state that Sylvia Zazueta, 24, was killed when a man crashed into a store. According to law enforcement, the driver, Isaac Adams, 19, was fleeing an accident scene at Riverside Drive and U.S. Highway 287 after Bobby Washington, the other driver in the accident said he was going to call the police. Adams and his passenger ran from the scene and the driver turned a corner in very high speed and lost control of the car and crashed into the store. The location of this accident was Riverside Drive and East Lancaster Avenue. Seven other people were taken to the hospital, including Adams and his passenger. None of them had any critical injuries. Zazueta died from the injuries she sustained in the accident, leaving behind three young children. Law enforcement suspects that Adams was under the influence of drugs and will be charged for intoxication manslaughter.

Woman involved in fatal motorcycle crash in Austin, Texas.

Reports coming out of Austin, Texas state that a 25 year old woman was involved in a fatal motorcycle accident. Law enforcement believe that the accident occurred at the intersection between RM 2222 and Vaught Ranch Road at about 7 AM. Police believe that the motorcycle was traveling east when a Subaru that was travelling west made a left turn on Vaught Ranch Road. The motorcyclist did not slow down or stop and collided with the car. Police believe that the driver of the car did not see the motorcyclist.

Man involved in fatal motorcycle accident in Austin, Texas.

Reports coming out of Austin, Texas state that one man and two other people were injured in a vehicle accident. Law enforcement believes that the accident occurred on the 5000 block of Ed Bluestein Boulevard at about 6 PM. Police believe that the accident happened between two motorcycles and one car. The original accident was between the motorcycles, after they hit each other. One of the motorcycles spun out of control and hit an SUV. The driver of this particular motorcycle was the one who died from his injuries.

Clark Davis in fatal accident involving 18-wheeler in Salado, TX.

Clark Brandon Davis, from Arlington, Texas, was killed and three others were injured in a road accident when a Crowley-based tractor-trailer crashed into a bridge construction project on I-35 near Salado, Texas. The tractor-trailer was being driven by Valentin Martinez, a Lares Trucking employee at about 11:30 AM when it the top of the vehicle hit the bottom of the bridge. This caused two concrete beams to fall from the bridge onto the highway. One of the beams fell onto another tractor-trailer and a pick-up truck was crushed as well. The driver of the truck, Davis, died from the injuries he sustained in the accident. Three others were injured as well, but only one was admitted to the hospital.

Nicholas Hitzfelder in fatal motorcycle crash in Austin, Texas.

Reports coming out of Austin, Texas state that Nicholas Hitzfelder, 26, was involved in a fatal motorcycle accident. Law enforcement believes that the accident occurred on West Slaughter Lane and Palace Parkway at about 3:30 PM. A Camry was travelling west when it made a turn into an apartment complex. The motorcycle, which was going east, collided with the vehicle. Hitzfelder died from the injuries he sustained in the accident.

Six injured people involved in car accident in Pasadena, Texas.

Reports coming out of Pasadena, Texas state that six injured people were involved in a car accident that included three cars. Law enforcement believes that the accident occurred at about 7 AM. The driver of a Mustang collided with two other cars. The first car that it collided was a sedan containing a mother and daughter. The Mustang did not stop and instead, it veered into oncoming traffic. Shortly after, the Mustang collided head-on with a pick-up truck. The driver of the Mustang was injured, as well as her two passengers, two boys of ages 6 and 12. The driver and passenger of the sedan were also injured, as well as the driver of the pick-up truck. They were all taken to the hospital. An investigation is currently going underway to solve whether the driver of the Mustang was impaired or whether there was a vehicle malfunction.

James Scholar involved in fatal motorcycle crash in Athens, Texas

Reports coming out of Athens, Texas state that James Scholar, of Aubrey, died in a fatal vehicle accident involving a motorcycle. Law enforcement believes that the accident occurred at about 5:30 PM on U.S. 175. Police reports state that a motorcycle, ridden by Scholar, was about to go on the off ramp when a pick-up truck pulled out in front of the motorcycle. The truck that was stopped at the sign failed to yield the right of way. Scholar died from the injuries he sustained in the accident. James Creel, of Palestine, was the truck driver and was not injured.

Raven Hernandez in fatal rear-end crash in San Antonio, Texas.

Reports coming out of San Antonio, Texas state that Raven Hernandez, 19, was involved in a rear-end car accident. Law enforcement believes that the accident happened at about 4 PM on I-10 West near Wurzbach Road. Hernandez was a passenger in an SUV that was on the side of the road due to a tire blow-out. A Ford F-150 crashed into the SUV along with another truck on the road. Hernandez died from the injuries she sustained in the accident. The driver of the Ford was injured, but the driver of the SUV and of the other truck that was hit were not injured.

Victim involved in fatal head-on crash in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Reports coming out of Corpus Christi, Texas state that one person has died and another has been severely injured after being involved in a car accident with an 18-wheeler. Law enforcement believes that the accident occurred at around 7 at the intersection of Suntide Road and Up River Road. Police believe that the driver of the 18-wheeler was driving north on Suntide Road, when a sedan that was going on Up River Road hit the rig head-on at the intersection. The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured, but the driver and the passenger of the sedan were. The passenger died from their injuries, while the driver was taken to the hospital.

Man involved in fatal car accident in San Antonio, Texas.

Reports coming out of San Antonio, Texas state that a man was involved in a single-car accident. According to law enforcement, the accident occurred at around 2:30 AM, on the De Zavala exit off of I-10. The driver lost control of his vehicle, a Tahoe, and collided with a utility pole. Police believe that factors of the accident were the high speed that the car seems to have been driven at, as well as the wet road conditions. Police also found an open alcohol container in the vehicle, which may indicate that the victim may have been under the influence while driving. In addition, reports state that the victim was not wearing a seatbelt. The victim has not been identified as of yet.

Three killed in fatal head-on collision near Sherman, Texas.

Jamie Armando Velazquez-Garcia, Angel Medina Ramirez, and Gonzalo Gonzalez all were killed in a fatal head-on collision near Sherman, Texas. Law enforcement believes that the accident occurred at about 11 AM on South Highway 289, in between Highway 902 and Mormon Grove Road. A Saturn that was travelling north crossed the center line and hit a Lincoln Navigator SUV that was going south. The three victims that were killed in the accident were all in the Saturn. Two more people, one of which was also a passenger in the Saturn, and the other was the driver of the SUV, were severely injured. Police do not know what the cause of the accident is as of yet.

Police officer Adrian Arellano in fatal accident in El Paso Texas

Reports coming out of El Paso, Texas state that Adrian Arellano was involved in a fatal vehicle accident. Arellano was a police officer and had been with the police department for ten years. He was in a funeral procession at the time, off-duty and as an escort, riding a motorcycle, with all of his lights and sirens activated. The accident occurred on Edgemere Boulevard and Yarbrough Drive at about 2 PM. Law enforcement states that an officer was directing traffic at the intersection stated above when Maria Soto, the driver of a Honda Civic, entered the intersection and collided with Arellano. He was thrown off of the motorcycle. He was taken to the hospital but died from the injuries sustained in the accident. Soto, as well as one of her passengers, who is 14, were taken to the hospital. They were both injured, but not grievously. Police state that Soto clearly disregarded the officer's directing of the traffic.

Brian Schiffel involved in fatal head-on crash in Onalaska, Texas

Reports coming out of Polk County, Texas state that Brian Schiffel, 27, of Montgomery, was involved in a fatal head-on collision in Onalaska. Law enforcement believes that the accident occurred on U.S. 190. Police state that Schiffel's car, a Chevy SUV, was heading west when it crossed the center line and hit a Ford pick-up truck that was travelling east. The driver of the truck, Shawn Lee Kimes, was seriously injured. Schiffel also had a passenger, Jeanette Baba, 26, of Chapel Hill, who was also seriously injured.

Five minors seriously injured in car accident in Colony, Texas.

Five people were injured in a car accident in Colony, Texas that culminated in a pick-up truck crashing into a house. Law enforcement believes that the accident occurred near Paige Road and Texas 121. The accident was the cause of a fight that had broken out previously in the night. There had been a party on Strickland Avenue that Cesar, Geovanni, and Jesus Rojas (all between the ages of 18 and 20) had been attending. Five people, also between the ages of 18 and 20, came to the party as well. There was an altercation between these five and the Rojas brothers. The Rojas brothers and two other friends, (19 and 20 years old) left the party in a Dodge Caliber. They stopped at a gas station when the five people that had been at the party drove up and started damaging the Dodge with a baseball bat. The five were in a pick-up truck. A chase followed, with the truck after the Dodge. The driver of the truck lost control of the vehicle and ended up crashing into a house on Crtuchberry Place. The driver of the truck, along with four other passengers, were seriously injured. They were taken to the hospital. Those in the Dodge were not injured. The residents of the house were uninjured as well.

Angie Smith involved in fatal car accident in Longview, Texas.

Angie Neldine Smith of Longview, Texas was involved in a fatal single-vehicle accident. Law enforcement believes that the accident occurred at around 12:30 AM in the 1600 block of George Richey Road. Smith was driving a Chevy Trailblazer. Police believe that that the car veered off of the road and landed in the front yard of a home. The car hit a tree forcefully. Smith died from the injuries she sustained in the accident. The cause of the accident is unknown as of yet.

Two victims involved in fatal car crash in Lakeway, Texas.

Nicholas Stearns and Christina Rincon Mendoza, 27 and 26, respectively, were involved in a fatal car accident in Lakeway, Texas, near Austin. According to law enforcement, the accident occurred at about 3 PM, at the intersection between RM 620 and Murfin Road. Reports state that police were following Stearns, after the latter had run a red light at the intersection between FM 620 and Anderson Mills Road. This caused him to start speeding and driving erratically. The police followed him until the accident site, where Stearns drove through the intersection, crossing the center line of the road, and slammed head-on into an oncoming car. Stearns and the driver of the car that was hit, Christina Mendoza, died from their injuries. Mendoza's passenger, Juan Cortez, also 26, was taken to the hospital in serious life-threatening condition. Reports state that he is currently on life support. Mendoza's car rolled over and was hit once again by another car. The driver of this third car was injured and also taken to the hospital.

Clayton Stokes killed in hit-and-run accident in Burleson, Texas.

Clayton Stokes was involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident in Burleson, Texas. Law enforcement believes that the accident occurred at about 11 PM on the 1800 block of East Renfro Street. It is thought that a vehicle hit Stokes while he was on his motorcycle. The motorcycle flipped into a ditch. Stokes was unconscious when he was found by a passing driver. The police are investigating the accident. The perpetrator of this accident has not been identified as of yet.

Saiyud Gale in an alleged fatal drunk driver crash in San Antonio.

Saiyud Gale was injured in an alleged drunk driving accident in San Antonio, Texas. Reports state that Gale, who was a passenger in the car, was thrown out of the vehicle when the driver hit a guardrail on the highway. A person claiming to be a family member of the driver reported to The Weaver Law Firm that the driver was not drunk and that Gale jumped out of the vehicle.  Law enforcement believes that the accident occurred at about 10 PM on I-35 and Rittiman. According to a report, the driver lost control of the car and hit the guardrail, which caused the door of the vehicle to come off. We suspect that the car crashed into the highway median, which caused Gale to be thrown out of the back seat. Gale was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. We believe that the driver, Boon Nuntasai Cates, was arrested for intoxication assault.

Alexandra Paccone in fatal car crash in Nacogdoches, Texas.

Alexandra Paccone, who was 20, was involved in a fatal car accident in Nacogdoches, Texas. According to law enforcement, the accident occurred at about 1 PM in the 1300 block of North Stallings Drive. Paccone was driving west when she lost control of the car and hit an SUV who was travelling east. The driver of the SUV, Joe Max Green, was taken to the hospital. Paccone died from the injuries that she sustained in the accident. A passenger of Green's, Gordon Ray Lewis, was also taken to the hospital.

Starla Dusteen Garcia of San Antonio killed by wrong way driver

Starla Dusteen Garcia was killed by a wrong way driver around midnight on Saturday. 42 year-old Starla Dusteen Garcia was a resident of San Antonio. At the time of the accident, Starla was travelling northbound on I-35 in Moore, Oklahoma. Starla was struck head on by 21 year-old Connor Otis of Norman, Oklahoma who was traveling in the wrong direction on the highway. Otis also struck a concrete barrier and two more vehicles before his vehicle came to a stop.

Elisabeth Cano in fatal drunk driving crash in San Antonio, Texas

Elizabeth Cano was involved in a fatal car accident in San Antonio, Texas. According to law enforcement, the accident occurred at about 1 AM in the 5900 block of South Presa. A driver, Miguel Cortes, 23, was reported to have been driving in the wrong direction. He collided with the car that Cano was a passenger in. John Cano, her husband, who was also the driver, and their 1-year old child were also in the car. John Cano, who works in the San Antonio District Attorney's Office, was taken to the hospital with grave injuries, while the 1-year old child was reported to be uninjured. The accident was made even more tragic because Elizabeth Cano was pregnant. Miguel Cortes was arrested for failure to stop and render aid and intoxication manslaughter.

Mickel Dolloff in fatal motorcycle crash in Gaines County, Texas.

Mickel Jay Dolloff was involved in a fatal motorcycle accident in Gaines County, Texas. According to law enforcement, the accident occurred at about 9 PM on FM 181. Dolloff was driving a Harley Davidson motorcycle south when the driver of a F-250 pick-up truck, Patrick Kennedy hit him. Kennedy was northbound and was attempting to pass another car in front of him. He went into the southbound lane and collided with the motorcycle. Though Kennedy was not injured, Dolloff died from the injuries he sustained in the accident.

Woman killed in drunk driving accident in Irving, Texas.

Reports coming out of Irving, Texas state that a woman died in a car accident. The accident occurred on Loop 12 near Texas 183 at about 3:30 AM. According to law enforcement, the at-fault driver that killed the woman began to change lanes and lost control of the vehicle. The car rolled multiple times. There were two passengers, a woman and a man, who were grievously injured. The woman died from the injuries sustained in the accident. Police believe that the passengers were not wearing seatbelts but the driver was. They believe that alcohol was a factor in the accident and arrested the driver for intoxication manslaughter.

Aaron Velasquez in fatal motorcycle crash in El Paso, Texas.

Aaron Velasquez, who was 23, was involved in a fatal motorcycle accident in El Paso, Texas. Law enforcement believes that the accident occurred on Lee Trevino Drive near Burnham Road. Police believe that Velasquez lost control of the motorcycle and crashed into a pole after attempting to avoid hitting a vehicle. Reports state that the motorcycle was not his, but was borrowed from a friend. He may have been inexperienced with driving the motorcycle, which may have been a factor in the accident. Police also believe that Velasquez may have been driving over the speed limit, which was 50 miles per hour, which may have also contributed to the accident.

Kealy Landess in fatal roll-over accident in Lubbock, Texas.

Two car accidents occurred in Lubbock, Texas in the same week and in the same place. Law enforcement believes that the first of the car accidents occurred at about 6:30 PM on County Road 6900. Police state that a Ford F-350 van was westbound when it drove off the edge of the road. The driver seems to have overcorrected and driven across the eastbound lanes, into a ditch, and rolled over. The driver of the car, Kealy Landess of Colorado, was thrown from the car and died from the injuries he sustained in the accident. There were six more passengers in the car that were also injured, but their relations to the driver and their state of health is not yet known.

Frederic Lemoine in fatal pedestrian accident in Jewett, Texas.

Frederic Lemoine of Marque, Texas died in a auto-pedestrian accident in Jewett, Texas. Lemoine was working as a power plant worker in Limestone County. Reports state that he was walking to his car in the parking lot of NRG's Limestone Electric Generation Station on FM 39 when another employee of the same station hit him. Law enforcement believes that the accident occurred at about 8 PM.

Ian Spence and Megan Cook in fatal car crash in Fairfield, Texas.

Reports coming out of Freestone County state Ian Spence, 21, and Megan Cook, 20, were killed in a car accident near Fairfield. Law enforcement reports that the accident happened at about 7 PM on FM 27. Spence, a young man from Mexia, was driving a Chevy Impala westbound. The car went over on the shoulder and the driver seems to have over-corrected. Because of this, the car slid into the eastbound lanes and was hit by a Jeep Cherokee. The driver and passenger of the Chevy were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and passenger in the Jeep were taken to the hospital.

Sara Irvin involved in 18-wheeler crash in Tyler County, Texas.

Reports coming out of Tyler County, Texas state that Sara Vaughn Irvin died in an accident involving an 18-wheeler. The accident happened on U.S. 69 near the FM 256 intersection at about 6 AM. Sara Irvin of Colmesneil was driving a Chevrolet Cobalt and was driving north. Jackie Lanning was the driver of a Freightliner tractor-trailer rig and was driving south. It is thought that the Chevrolet drifted out of the northbound lanes and into the southbound lanes, where it hit the 18-wheeler. Irvin died from the injuries sustained in the accident. Lanning was not injured in the accident.

Four children and mother injured in San Antonio, Texas crash.

Reports coming from San Antonio, Texas state that four children and their mother have been severely injured in a car accident. Law enforcement believes that a vehicle malfunction, specifically, a tire blow-out, caused the car to roll over. The accident occurred on Loop 410 near Dietrich Road at about 4 PM. The children were of ages four, six, seven, and nine. The condition of the father, the driver, is unknown.

April Ranolls involved in 18-wheeler crash in Orange County Texas

April Ranolls from Orange County, Texas, died in a car accident that involved an 18-wheeler. Law enforcement believes that the accident occurred at around 6 AM on Texas 62. Ranolls was in a 2014 Chevrolet and was driving south when a 1995 Freightliner 18-wheeler, driven by Adam Dewling, hit her. The 18-wheeler was turning from a parking lot.

Miranda Abshire and children die in drunk crash in Alvarado Texas

Reports coming out of Alvarado, Texas state that three people have been killed, two of which are children, in a car accident. Law enforcement believes that the accident occurred on U.S Highway 67. Miranda Abshire, a 22-year old woman was killed in the accident, with her two children, Adrian and Cruz Abshire. The accident occurred when a pick-up truck was travelling in the wrong direction and hit the car that Abshire was driving. There was a third child that was also injured, but was taken to the hospital. The driver of the pick-up truck was also taken to the hospital with injuries. Police believe that the driver of the truck, Ricardo Martinez, was drunk at the time of the accident. However, they are still investigating the cause of the incident.

Shannon Brown involved in car crash in Nacogdoches, Texas.

Reports coming out of Nacogdoches, Texas state that Shannon Brown died in a car accident. The accident occurred on West Loop 224 near Sandia Street at about 2 PM. Brown was driving north in a 2011 Chevrolet when she pulled onto the shoulder of the highway. She attempted to go back into the flow of traffic when she drove into the way of a 2015 Chrysler. The driver of the Chrysler was Thomas Lee from Louisiana. There was a passenger in Brown's car and two passengers in Lee's car that were taken to the hospital. Reports state that the passengers did not grievous injuries.

Police officer injured in head-on crash in San Antonio, Texas.

Reports coming out of San Antonio state that a police officer was injured in a car accident. Law enforcement believes that the accident occurred at Kyle Street and Berlin Street at about 1:30 AM. A truck ran a stop sign and this caused the police officer to t-bone the truck. This caused the truck to hit a fence and a garage. The police state that the truck driver was under the influence of alcohol. He was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition. The police officer did not sustain any grievous injuries.

David Denman and Benjamin Sanchez in head-on crash in Texas.

Reports coming out of Gregg County, Texas state that two people died and three more were injured in a car accident. The accident occurred close to Interstate 20 on Highway 31 at about 8 PM. The accident occurred when David Denman of Kilgore and Benjamin Sanchez of Conroe collided in a head-on accident. They both died because of the collision. Heather Sanchez, a passenger in Benjamin Sanchez's car, and two children were taken to the hospital. Sanchez and one of the children is in stable condition, while the other child is grievously injured.

Jessica Harris and Stacey Daily of Graham, Texas in car crash.

Jessica Lee Harris and Stacey Daily, both from Graham, Texas, died in a fatal car accident on Highway 337 in Palo Pinto County. Police states that the accident involved a 2010 Mitsubishi and a 1999 Chevrolet van. The accident occurred at about 5:30 PM on State Highway 337 north of U.S. Highway 180 near Mineral Wells. The van was travelling south when it collided with a Mitsubishi that was heading north. The van was occupied by seven members from a Graham church, who were all taken to the hospital. One of the passengers, Stacey Daily, died in the hospital from the injuries sustained in the accident. The driver of the Mitsubishi, Jessica Harris, also died at the scene.

Lorrie Flores in head-on collision near Fort Stockton, Texas.

Lorrie Flores, from Sheffield, Texas died in a head-on collision near Fort Stockton. Law enforcement states that the accident occurred at about 1 PM on Interstate 10. A police officer had pulled Flores over for an unknown reason, when she bolted from the scene, driving on the wrong side of the road. Flores collided with a semi-truck, who was being driven by Alberto Garcia, from Florida. Flores died from the injuries sustained in the accident, while Garcia was released in a stable condition after being sent to the hospital. Police state that both drivers were wearing their seatbelts at the time.

Dana Regester and Pasha Zapolsky in car crash in Flint, Texas.

Dana Regester of Flint, Texas, and Pasha Zapolsky of Bullard, Texas died in a car accident in the Flint-Gresham area. Law enforcement believes that the accident occurred at about 6 PM at Old Jacksonville Highway near County Road 140. Carl Crabtree, the driver of a truck, was going south on the highway when the car crossed the center line and crashed head-on with an SUV that was heading north. There were four people in the SUV-the driver, Dana Regester, and three teenagers, Pasha Zapolsky, Ashley Regester, and Caleb Chardwell. The Regesters are from Flint and Zapolsky and Chardwell are from Bullard.

Linda Fann seriously injured in car accident in Edom, Texas.

Reports coming out of Edom, Texas state that Linda Fann was seriously injured in a car accident. The accident occurred off of FM 2339. Linda Fann was the passenger in the car, while Richard Dye was the driver. Dye supposedly ran off the road and hit a tree. Law enforcement believes that Dye was under the influence of alcohol and driving at a very high speed. After the accident, Dye left Fann on the side of the road and fled the scene. The accident is thought to have happened at about 12 AM.

Robert Powers involved in fatal car accident in Beaumont, Texas.

Robert Dale Powers died in Beaumont, Texas in a car accident involving an 18-wheeler. According to law enforcement, the accident occurred on U.S. 69 in Lumberton near Jordan Drive at 9 AM. Police believe that Powers drove out of his lane into oncoming traffic and was hit by an 18-wheeler. Powers died at the scene. The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured.

Philip Keen injured in three-vehicle accident in Alice, Texas.

Philip Keen was all taken to the hospital with injuries after being involved in a three-vehicle accident in Alice, Texas. Law enforcement believes that Clayton Davis was the driver of an 18-wheeler while Gloria Martinez was the driver of a Chevy, and Keen was the driver of a Silverado. The 18-wheeler was travelling east when it hit Martinez's Chevy. It hit her car head-on, while she was making a left turn at Main and Front Street. The force with which the Chevy was hit made the car spin out of control and hit Keen's Silverado, which was at a red light. The cause of the accident is unknown.

Joseph Stratton arrested for hit-and-run in Cypress, Texas.

Reports coming out of San Antonio, Texas state that a man was grievously injured after being involved in a car accident. The incident occurred at about 3 AM on Interstate 35 North near Benz Ingleman. Law enforcement believes that the driver was driving at a very high rate of speed and he lost control of his car. He crashed into a pole and was taken to the hospital. He died from the injuries sustained in the accident.

School children injured in car accident in San Marcos, Texas.

Reports coming out of San Marcos, Texas, state that a dozen people were taken to the hospital. The accident occurred when a utility truck rear-ended a school bus. There were eleven children and two adults on the bus. At about 5 PM, at State Highway 21 and Reynaldo Way, a utility truck hit the back of the bus. The driver of the bus and one of the students were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Law enforcement believes that the driver of the truck was distracted and that was the cause of the accident.

Physician Robert Weinstein and his 21-year old assistant, Abigail Resendiz, died in a car accident in Tarrant County, Texas. The accident occurred at about 9:30 PM. The accident happened when the car hit a patch of ice on the road and flipped over into Mary's Creek. Law enforcement believes that the cause of the accident is partially due to the weather conditions at the time.

Ami Babbitt killed in drunk driving incident in San Antonio Texas

Ami Lea Babbitt was killed in a drunk driving incident in San Antonio, Texas. Law enforcement believes that the incident occurred in the 9800 block of Potranco Road at about 4 AM. The drunk driver went off the road because he had supposedly fallen asleep at the wheel. The car crossed a few lanes, left the road, hit a pole, and unfortunately, also hit Babbitt. She was taken to the hospital, but she died from the injuries she sustained in the accident. There are no reports on whether the drunk driver was injured. The driver will be charged with intoxication manslaughter.

High school students involved in fatal car crash in Elgin, Texas.

Ashley Farrell and Garret Sumner died in a car accident in Elgin, Texas. Police state that the accident occurred at about 12 AM on U.S. 290. The car went off the road and rolled down an embankment. Three other passengers were injured in the accident, but not grievously. The two victims and the passengers were all high schoolers at Elgin High School. Ashley Farrell and Garret Sumner were 18 and 16, respectively. Reports state that neither was wearing a seatbelt.
