Toll Brothers will develop new home community called Northwoods near Exxon campus

On Behalf of | Jan 29, 2014 | Truck Accidents |

Toll Brothers Inc. is the nation’s leading builder of luxury homes. Reports indicate that it is working with Texas-based Cernus Development LLC, a real estate company. Cernus work includesland acquisition and development. The group plans to bring a master-planned community to North Houston. North Houston contains a wooded area of land, which would be a beautiful area to develop.

The anticipated name for the new community is expected to be called Northwoods. According to the Woodlands Villager, Northwoods will provide residents with access to a luxurious living experience in a natural environment. The area is expected to be located just south of the future Grand Parkway expansion and only 6 miles from the Exxon Mobil campus.

We expect Northwoods to offer residents miles of walking and biking trails. What more can be expected? Possibly a recreational facility, parks and lakes. How much will the homes sell for? We anticipate that they will be priced from $300,000 to more than $600,000. When will Toll Brothers and Cernus Development break ground? We anticipate that they will break ground in February.

Northwoods is one of the largest land purchases in the area for the national homebuilder. The Woodlands Villager reports that in the four years since entering the Houston market, Toll Brothers has built homes in master-planned communities throughout the metro area. Which homes are currently open for sale? The homes currently open for sale are in Coronet Ridge, The Estates at Blairs Way and Wooded Overlook in The Woodlands; Riverstone in Sugar Land; and The Heights. Where else? Vista Shores at Towne Lake in Cypress; Ironwood Estates and Sycamore Meadow at Cinco Ranch, and The Reserve at Katy in Katy; The Sanctuary, and Milano Estates at Sienna Plantation and Flamingo Island at Lake Olympia in Missouri City; Barrington in Kingwood; Vintage Lakes in Northwest Houston.

We are going to see busy Texas Realtors and Houston real estate lawyers. With the amount of new development and home sales, we will see additions real estate transactions. There will be more home buyers hiring Realtors and lawyers for representation for contract review and consultation.

Many people that live in the Woodlands area commute into the city. Unfortunately, because of the amount of car and truck accidents that happen on I-45, the commute can be horrid. With a new master-planned community located near the Exxon Mobile campus, employee no longer have to endure the long commute or traffic jams as the result of a commercial truck accident. We look forward to the development of a new community that is close to where people work and live.
