On Behalf of | Aug 7, 2013 | Truck Accidents |

A woman decided to flee from Houston police this past Tuesday. After she did, she collided with several cars. She caused a truck accident and killed a driver of one of the vehicles.

The police report that an officer witnessed her vehicle driving suspiciously. The woman was driving a Dodge pickup around 7:00 a.m. not to far from Westerland and Westheimer in Houston.

After noticing the suspicious driving, the officer applied his emergency lights in an effort to pull her over. The woman refused. She proceeded to run two red lights. Then, she collided with a car at Westheimer and Kirkwood. that was when she stopped.

The police officer got out his car and approached the truck, but then she drive away. The officer ran to his vehicle and then pursued. The woman then ran another red light and hit several vehicles around Eldridge Parkway in Houston, Texas.

The pickup truck swiped a Mazda that was positioned in the left-had turn lane. She then hit the side of a Chevrolet Impala that was in the intersection causing another truck accident. She had lost control of her Dodge Ram. She then crashed head-on into a Southern Star cement truck No. 9037. The commercial vehicle was marked with TX DOT 005802307C. We believe that the cement truck operated out of Houston.

The 29 year-old driver died at the scene. This was all probably the result of an impaired and intoxicated driver. The other people that were hit by the woman had minor injuries. The 18 year old pickup truck driver was taken to the hospital.
